My stay at Litchfield Outback Resort was quite adequate. The location was great, serving as a solid base for exploring Litchfield National Park. but the accommodations could use some updates. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my visit more enjoyable despite some drawbacks like the outdated decor and harsh room lighting.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and clean, with a big wall-mounted TV, a kettle, and some coffee and tea bags. However, the neon lighting was brutal and made the atmosphere quite harsh.
Service
8.0
The staff were lovely and very accommodating. they provided great recommendations and were eager to help with local attractions.
Location
8.0
The resort is conveniently located near Litchfield National Park, making it a perfect spot for exploration. All rooms overlook a pleasant area, and it was easy to sit outside and enjoy the weather.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was continental and offered a nice outlook near the pool. it was a basic spread but left in the fridge for the next day's meal. Dining options were limited during my stay due to renovations.
Facilities
5.0
The facility included a pool, which looked inviting, but I didn't use it. The hotel was also undergoing renovations, which limited certain services. Laundry access could use improvement, as I faced a bit of a mishap trying to find it.

I had a pleasant stay at the Litchfield Outback Resort. the food was tasty, and the staff were genuinely helpful. However, the room could use some upgrades, especially in the bathroom department. Overall, a good experience, but there are areas for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, equipped with a big wall-mounted TV and basic amenities. although the bathroom had dated features like plastic shower curtains and a loose shower head. The air conditioning worked well, and the view of the pool was nice.
Service
8.0
The service was really good, especially from Tania and Walkiria at the bistro. they were attentive and knowledgeable about local attractions. However, the restaurant seemed understaffed during busy times, which affected service speed.
Location
8.0
The resort is ideally located for exploring Litchfield National Park, close to attractions like Florence Falls. it was peaceful and quiet, making it a great base for my adventures. The staff offered helpful recommendations on things to do in the area.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the meals at the bistro, particularly the well-cooked pork ribs. though the wait times were longer than expected, likely due to busy service. Breakfast options were simple but adequate for starting the day.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included a lovely pool area and a well-stocked bottle shop, which was convenient. However, the outside space could use a bit of sprucing up, as it felt cluttered at times.

My stay at Litchfield Outback Resort was filled with pleasant surprises. The recent bathroom renovation was a highlight, and the food was truly sublime, especially the breakfast. However, some aspects, like the room's dated look and a few cleanliness issues, could be improved.

Rooms

My room was spacious with a recently refurbished bathroom that was ultra-modern. The TV and cold bar-fridge were great additions for convenience, but the overall aesthetic felt a bit dated.
Service

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Rinaldo's local knowledge during breakfast was particularly helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

Dining was a standout experience. The food selection was extensive and high quality. I particularly loved the breakfast with really good bacon and the deconstructed Guinness pie for dinner.

While Housekeeping and other amenities like laundry and tours were functional, the condition of some items in the room, like the kettle, could use a bit more attention.

My stay at Litchfield Outback Resort was overall quite pleasant. The spacious room offered a lovely view of the pool, and the friendly staff only added to the experience. However, I did run into some issues with the hotel's age and ongoing renovations which was a bit disappointing. The location is fantastic for exploring Litchfield National Park, making it a great choice for access to the area.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the pool outside. It was well-appointed, featuring a large wall-mounted TV and essential amenities like a kettle and coffee supplies. Although the decor seemed a bit dated in some areas, the overall comfort made up for it.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided me with all the necessary information about local dining options, especially since the restaurant was closed during my visit. Their willingness to assist really enhanced my experience.
Location
9.0
The resort's location is fantastic, just a stone's throw away from Litchfield National Park and key spots like Florence Falls. It made my day trips hassle-free, though I noted some ongoing renovations that should improve accessibility in the future.
Dining
6.0
Though the dining area was closed, breakfast was included and was good enough, consisting of cereals, milk, and fruits. I was sad that I couldn't enjoy a proper meal on-site as planned, but the bar-bistro was available for drinks, which helped.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent, though I do think they could use some upgrades, especially the pool area which could benefit from additional safety features. The laundry facilities were handy, but the access issue I faced was unexpected.
